Boogaloo Bill
(c) + (p) 2007, Mark BelbinBased loosely on the (inimitable) style of Medeski Martin and Wood, this demo showcases the strengths of the Wavelore Clavichord in the area of playing funky, rock-oriented squeaks, squeals, groans and growls using heavy distortion, wah, and compression. It makes heavy use of percussive attacks together with the wah pedal to create a Jimi-Hendrix inspired guitar-like texture.
All these effects are built right into the Clavichord's interface, and can be keyswitched on and off on the fly while in electric mode. The effects are supported and enhanced by an amplifer sound where the room mics are dominant.
